The Strip at LVMS joins www.1320go.com; Instant results and past statistics available to racers and fans online
Thursday, July 31, 2008

The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the latest drag-racing facility to join www.1320go.com.   The service will provide live Compulink timing from The Strip's events, enabling fans to access instant results from home and racers to download a record of past runs.  A subscription to www.1320go.com costs $40 per year.

"We tested the system during the recent sport compact event and it will launch Friday, Aug. 8, during the Test 'n' Tune," said Chris Blair, LVMS's vice president of racing operations.  "The first event that will feature www.1320go.com coverage is the Jerry's Nugget Championship Drag Racing Series meet on Saturday, Aug. 9.

"Our late-season schedule is packed with a wide range of exciting events that attract world-wide attention," Blair continued.  "Our PSCA events, the Las Vegas Bracket Nationals and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Finals are followed closely on other websites and webcam services.  With www.1320go.com, fans and racers will be able to see detailed information of each and every run as quickly as possible."

In addition to up-to-the minute race results, the system also includes a weather station with temperature, wind, humidity and barometric pressure readings.
