The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has been selected as the recipient of “Mr. Terrible’s Round Up” for the month of August 2024. Speedway Children’s Charities and Terrible’s will work together to raise money to help children in Nevada at all 162 participating Southern Nevada Terrible’s locations.

To celebrate its 65th anniversary, Terrible’s is giving back to the communities that have supported the convenience store and gas station company over the decades through an in-store round up your change for charity program, called “Mr. Terrible’s Round Up”.

As part of the month-long program, patrons visiting any of the 162 participating Southern Nevada Terrible’s locations can round up their change at the in-store register from Thursday, Aug. 1 through Aug. 30. All proceeds collected from the community will go directly towards benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities and its cause of helping children in southern Nevada.

“Speedway Children’s Charities is excited and appreciative of this first-time partnership with all 162 Terrible’s stores to raise crucial funds for local children in need,” said Paulette Anderson, director of the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. “Partnerships like this one are essential to helping our chapter raise the funds necessary to continue assisting the agencies and children in our region.”

Since the Las Vegas Chapter's charter in 1999, more than $5 million has been donated to children's organizations in Southern Nevada, and it continues to help local children and their causes.
