With football in our rearview mirrors, NASCAR is ready to rev its engines this Sunday for its first points race of the season at “The Great American Race.”
Race fans who have been waiting anxiously for the season to begin can view the first race without making the trip to Florida. The South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will be hosting a viewing party on Feb. 19 for the Daytona 500.
Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes, including tickets and Neon Garage passes to Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 2023 Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on March 5. Fans also can register to win a 2023 South Point 400 VIP worth up to $5,000. Doors for the viewing party open at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and the Daytona 500's green flag is scheduled to drop at 11:30 a.m. The party will be held in the South Point Showroom.
The 2023 NASCAR season continues in Fontana, California, the following weekend before turning its attention to Las Vegas. LVMS’s tripleheader weekend begins with the Victoria's Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on Friday, March 3, continues with the Alsco Uniforms 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, March 4, and concludes with the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, March 5.
