NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson addressed the media on Wednesday, March 5 to promote NASCAR weekend and the Kubota High Limit Racing Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Larson shared his excitement ahead of the highly anticipated race weekend, scheduled for March 13-16.
Reflecting on his past wins at LVMS, Larson said, “I am really excited to get back to Las Vegas to compete and race. My team is ready and we expect a great race, can’t ask for much more.” As a former champion, he remains focused on securing another victory in the upcoming Pennzoil 400.
During the conference, Larson also spoke about the continued expansion of the High Limit Racing Series, which he co-founded with five-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet. Now in its second year, the series boasts over 60 events across 20 states, with a prize pool exceeding $5.8 million. The Las Vegas event is particularly significant, marking the return of a national sprint car series to the Dirt Track at LVMS after a six-year absence.
Larson emphasized the series stating, “I am really excited to get to bring the series that I co-own with my brother-in-law (High Limit Racing) back to the track. It has been a while since we have had sprint car racing at the Dirt Track, and our teams and competitors are really excited to race and spend time in Vegas.”
The media conference provided valuable insight into Larson’s preparations for the upcoming season, his reflections on past achievements, and his vision for the future of High Limit Racing. With the Pennzoil 400 weekend just days away, fans and participants alike are eager for the high-speed action that Las Vegas is known for.
