The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Madera Speedway have joined forces for the new Silver & Gold Modified Series in 2025. Three races each will be held in the Silver State and the Golden State towards the new 6-race open Modified championship for the West Coast.
The first five rounds will pay $2000 to win while the championship round will pay $7500 to the victor. Teams will have the option of a throwaway race, with the standings encompassing the best five finishes. All six races will be 75 laps.
A simple open Modifieds rulebook based on the Open Wheel Showdown book from 2024 will be utilized. Promoters Kenny Shepherd and TJ Clark will combine forces for this exciting new series, launching April 19 in Las Vegas on Low Budget TV, part of the SPEED SPORT TV platform. All three Las Vegas races will be streamed by Speed Sport, while Madera will live stream their races on the Short Track TV YouTube along with tape-delay coverage on MAVTV.
The full lineup of Las Vegas dates are April 19, September 13, and a to-be-announced date with the major year-end event, the Davey Hamilton, Jr.’s Open Wheel Showdown. Madera’s dates coincide with major televised races including May 31 and July 19 with the Pro Late Model and Jr. Late Model Series and August 16 with the Olga’s California Dream 100 for Pro Mini Stocks.
