Auto lovers of all ages will be able to beat the heat and enjoy a fun event to help raise money for a great cause.
The South Point Car & Truck Show, presented by Star Nursery and sponsored by Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nostalgia Street Rods, Clyne's Classic Cars, JS Products, and Vegas Lugnut, is set for Saturday, Aug. 24, at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa's Exhibit Halls. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST.
Car registration entries for the South Point Car & Truck Show have sold out for a consecutive year, but the car show event remains FREE ADMISSION FOR SPECTATORS!
"This annual event has become so popular with local families because of the hundreds of amazing vehicles we have to attend the show, all from as early as a 1939 Ford Roadster to current-day Mustangs and Corvettes!" said SCC-Las Vegas Chapter Director Paulette Anderson. "We encourage everyone to come to the South Point's Exhibit Hall to enjoy the free car show, participate in our raffle and check out our vendor booths. It's a fun day for car fanatics and families!"
Hundreds of cars, pickups and semi-tractors have signed up to participate in the fan-fueled event, which is all housed in a climate-controlled environment in the friendly confines of the South Point. Everyone will have the chance to see some superb vehicles and enjoy fantastic food and music.
Attendees will have the opportunity to help cast their votes for the best of the best in several award categories: People's Choice Car, Children's Choice, South Point Award, Star Nursery Award and People's Choice Pickup. In addition, raffle tickets will be available for purchase, and visitors can win many amazing prizes while donating money to a great cause.
