RaceDayNFT.com, Speedway Motorsports’ digital collectible marketplace for race fans, is marking its third year with extensive new NFT offerings and exclusive on-track experiences.
An NFT (non-fungible token) is a digital collectible (such as a video or image) that is officially licensed and recorded on the blockchain to demonstrate proof of ownership.
On every NASCAR Cup Series weekend at Speedway Motorsports tracks in 2023, fans will find innovative new NFTs for purchase combined with physical collectibles and exclusive premium experiences, starting with the March 3-5 Pennzoil 400 event weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
2023 packages will include:
- Physical/digital diecast car bundles
- Physical/digital race hat bundles
- Premium at-track experiences at select tracks
“We are excited to start the 2023 season at RaceDayNFT.com with an unbelievable lineup of innovative new NFTs combined with exclusive at-track collectibles and experiences,” said Speedway Motorsports’ Chief Operating Officer Mike Burch. “These new collectible combinations and at-track experiences will take the memory making opportunities to an entirely new level for every race fan at Speedway Motorsports NASCAR event weekends this season.”
Exclusive NFTs for the March 5 Pennzoil 400 weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are available now at www.racedaynft.com.
The new year has already featured a major NFT drop celebrating one of the most beloved mascots in NASCAR – Dover Motor Speedway’s Miles the Monster – in various everyday hero uniforms. “Miles the Monster First Responder” NFTs sold out in 15 minutes earlier this month.
In partnership with Gigantik, Speedway Motorsports created RaceDayNFT.com, the original motorsports NFT marketplace for race fans, in 2021.
“We are so excited to be back with another year of RaceDayNFT,” said Jon Parise, CRO of Gigantik. “Our partnership with Speedway Motorsports has been a key factor in growing our Gigantik platform to what it is today.”
RaceDay NFT is also linked with Dapper Wallet, which allows customers to conduct NFT business with credit cards as well as multiple currencies including popular cryptocurrency options such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Speedway Motorsports leverages the proprietary platform Gigantik to create and operate its NFT marketplace. Gigantik helps brands remove the complexity of smart contracts, blockchain integration, NFT design and management of event services.
